The last 6 years of his RAF career were spent as a member of the RAF Engineering Authority at RAF Wyton responsible for the maintenance of all RAF escape sysytems including accident investigations.Mick then moved on to work for the major manufacturer of ejection systems, Martin-Baker.His talk will cover the history and development of Martin-Baker ejection (not ejector) seats including how ejection seats were ‘invented’ up to the present day.
