Welcome to the Probus Newmarket Web Application.

In 2025 the Probus Club of Newmarket celebrated its 50th anniversary.

At the club AGM, in September 2025, the members agreed to widen the membership criteria and allow Ladies to join as full members.

The main function of the club is to organise two meetings per month, on the first and third Wednesday, at the Masonic Hall on Newmarket High Street.

We meet at 10.00 for coffee and then, at 10.30, we have a one hour talk from a guest speaker. These talks cover a wide range of different topics as will be seen by clicking on the programme menu item on th left hand menu.

On a few occasions, these meetings are replaced by lunches or visits to external locations.

Our Chairman is John Gentleman and he welcomes anyone interested in joining the group to come along to one of our meetings to see whether we meet their expections.

This web application is designed to provide members with easy access to club information, event details, and resources.

This initial version of the application provides details of the meeting location and the programme for most of 2026, but it is the intention to add much more information over the next few weeks.

We welcome all Probus members, both gentlemen and ladies, to explore the features of this application and stay connected with the club's activities.
